SEASON INFORMATION
Monday, August 9 thru Wednesday, August 11 (Aug 12 is make-up rain day)
Group Practices for 3rd - 6th grade participants - 6:00 PM
3rd & 4th Grade is at Mcguire Middle School
5th Grade is at Lakeville South HS
6th Grade is at Lakeville North HS
During the group practices, all the participants at a grade level practice together. We focus on fundamentals and have the players go to different stations throughout the practice. We also do some skills evaluation of the players so that when we formulate teams, we can try to form as equal of teams at each grade level as possible. Our goal is to form equally skilled and sized teams throughout the league so as to promote good competition between the teams. It is impossible to achieve this goal perfectly, but we strive for that goal nonetheless.

Tackle Team Announcements (3rd - 6th gd)
Tackle teams will be to the coaches so that they can contact their team members prior to the first team practice. We try to have those announcements to our coaches in the early evening.
Monday, August 16
First Tackle Team Practice (3rd - 6th gd)
Teams will practice together for the first time. We ask each coach to contact every player prior to first practice to give direction on where to meet at each grade's "home facility". Each grade is assigned a home facility for practices and games. If your coach does not contact you, please contact your level director on Monday or show up at 6:00 at your respective facility.
3rd Grade - Mcguire Middle School

Tuesday, August 17
First Flag Level Practices
Flag teams are formulated prior to the season and your coaches should contact you prior to the first practice. All practices and games are at Lakeville South High School. If you are not contacted by a coach prior to this date, please show up on Aug 18 at 6:15 at LSHS.

Grades 3-6 Games and Practices
Game schedules are available on our web site on the "Game Schedules 2010" tab.
Practices for the tackle football program are set by the individual coaches, but they are typically 2-3 practices per week and 1-2 games per week. We ask coaches to refrain from practicing on Wednesday once school begins. We also ask coaches to refrain from practicing when there is a varsity home game happening in our community. We encourage all LFA players and families to attend our varsity football games.
