Lakeville Football Association 2009

We just wanted to say good luck to all the kids in the community playing their first LFA games on Saturday. As we have been around town the last few weeks, we have seen all the kids in our community practicing on the fields. Any night of the week,it seems like there are kids everywhere playing football in Lakeville, which is a pretty nice sight for a high school football coach to see! We very much appreciate the time and commitment that the parents and coaches in Lakeville give to the kids involved in football. The amount of support that the families in Lakeville have for the kids is a big reason for the success of our programs at the high school level.

We are both busy with our own seasons at the high school level, but we certainly try and get out and see some games at the LFA level as well throughout the year. There is not many better ways to spend time than watching young kids having a great time playing football on a fall day.

At the high school level, we know that the community is a big part of our success and seeing all the LFA families at our games means alot to the players in our high school programs. As a result of that, we have been able to work with the administration at both North & South high schools to allow any player wearing their LFA jersey to get in FREE to any home game at Lakeville North or Lakeville South this season. The high schools have asked that LFA players be accompanied by a responsible adult and that they keep an eye on them during the games. We hope to see a big crowd of LFA jerseys at our home games this year!
